It's another rainy day here in Southern California... so what better day to stay inside by the fire, with a warm cup of hot chocolate and craft! I found these adorable cardboard die-cut signs at Michael's last week in the dollar section and just couldn't pass them by!

I had a great idea of making these cardboard cut-out's into decorative signs to hang in my friend's little girls bedroom. So I broke out the Martha Stewart glitter and got to work!

I started out by placing the cardboard cut-out onto an oversized cardstock card.(this makes cleaning up excess glitter much easier!) Using a foam craft brush & Tacky Glue, I then brushed a thin & even coat of glue over each letter, brushing the glue in the same direction (from left to right).

TIP: let the glue sit for about a min. so that the glue has time to set up and become "tacky" to really adhere to the glitter.

After the glittering was complete, I set both die-cut's aside to dry.

Finish off by embellishing with some Martha Stewart Silk Ribbon and it's now ready to hang up and add a little touch of whimsy to any room!

Not gunna lie .. gunna have to make some of these for my daughter.. thanks for the great idea.
